Join Our Team

Roofing is physical work, and we won’t pretend otherwise. You’re up early, you’re problem-solving before most people have had coffee, and by the end of the day the job either looks right or it doesn’t. At Crestview Roofing, we’ve built the whole company around the second part of that sentence – doing the job so it looks right, stays right, and is documented that way with photos before we leave the property. If that standard appeals to you, you’ll fit here. If you’d rather cut corners and hope nobody notices, this isn’t your crew.

We’ve been part of the Relay Home Co. family since 2000, and the way we run jobs hasn’t drifted from what we started with: written price upfront, photos before and after, a live trackable arrival time, and a digital invoice sent by text when the work is done. That structure protects the homeowner, and it protects you too – you always know exactly what was agreed before you pick up a tool.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Roofing Technician: Someone who reads a roof correctly – slope, flashing condition, underlayment, decking – and does the repair the way the manufacturer intended, not the way that’s fastest.
  • Roof Installer: A crew member who takes quality personally on full installs, keeps pace without rushing, and understands that a shingle laid wrong today becomes a callback in three years.
  • Apprentice / Trainee: No roofing background required – just a willingness to learn the right way from day one, ask questions, and show up ready to work.
  • Lead Technician: An experienced roofer who can run a crew, communicate clearly with homeowners, and hold the job-site standard without being told to.
  • Dispatcher / Scheduler: An organized, calm communicator who keeps crews moving, customers informed, and the schedule from falling apart when a job runs long.
  • Customer Service Representative: Someone who can answer a call clearly, explain what we do without reading from a script, and actually solve the problem the homeowner called about.

What We Offer

Real Training and a Clear Path Forward

Whether you start as an apprentice handling ground work and material runs or you come in with years on a roof, there’s a defined path here. We train to the brand standard – Relay Visibility, written pricing, photo documentation – so you know the system, not just the task. Technicians who learn the full job become leads. Leads who run good crews move into senior roles. The path is real and it’s not arbitrary.

Work You Can Actually Stand Behind

Every repair we do is covered by the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if a covered repair fails within a full year, we go back and fix it at no charge. That policy only works if the work was done correctly in the first place, which means we don’t ask you to rush a job to make a number. We use materials from GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, IKO, Atlas, Tamko, and Boral – manufacturer-backed products that hold up, so what you install today isn’t a problem six months from now. Good materials and time to do it right – that’s what makes the work worth doing.

A National Brand, a Local Crew

Crestview Roofing locations are independently owned and operated. You’re working with a local crew, not reporting to a distant corporate office that has never seen your market. At the same time, you’re backed by the Relay Home Co. brand, its systems, its guarantee structure, and its supplier relationships. You get the stability of a national name and the flexibility of a local business – that combination is harder to find than it sounds.

Steady Demand for Good Roofers

Roofs wear out, storms happen, and homeowners don’t stop needing skilled people to fix them. The demand for qualified roofing technicians isn’t seasonal guesswork – it’s consistent, and the gap between the number of good roofers available and the number of jobs that need doing is only getting wider. If you’re reliable and skilled, there’s work here.

No Experience? Read This.

If you’ve spent time in construction, carpentry, HVAC, or any trade that required you to work carefully at height and read a job before touching it, you already have more than you think. The technical side of roofing – how to identify worn flashing, read a drip edge, spot decking damage, or stage materials on a slope – is teachable. What isn’t teachable is showing up on time, paying attention, and caring whether the job looks right when you walk away from it.

Your first months will be spent learning the Relay Standard alongside experienced technicians. You’ll watch, assist, ask questions, and gradually take on more of the work as your confidence and skill build. We don’t expect you to know the difference between a modified bitumen flat and a standing-seam metal roof on day one. We do expect you to want to learn it. If that’s you, call us or fill out the form below and tell us where you’re starting from.

How to Apply

Call us at (325) 246-5075 – a live person will answer – or use the application form below. Let us know where you’re based, what kind of work you’ve done (roofing or otherwise), and when you’re available to start. Hiring is handled locally by the Crestview location nearest you, so include your general location and we’ll connect you with the right crew.
